β¨ New
Flexible declarations. Declarations now come in three types: accept on screen (read and tick, optionally sign), upload a document you already hold (e.g. a First Aid or range-officer certificate), and the existing download, sign and return. Club admins choose the type per declaration under Club Settings β General β Declaration Templates.
Set a document's own expiry date. When you upload evidence you now enter the date your certificate expires, so Range Mate tracks it accurately and reminds you in good time β rather than assuming a fixed period from today.
Renew declarations and view your history. As a declaration nears expiry a Renew button appears, and a History view shows every time you've made it.
Declarations can grant roles. As well as disciplines, completing a declaration can now give a member a role (such as RO or RCO) β added on approval and removed automatically if the declaration lapses.
Required declarations. Clubs can make a declaration mandatory β for everyone or for specific roles. Members with an outstanding required declaration are prompted to complete it before they can continue, and admins see who still owes one.
π¨ Improvements
Rejections keep a reason and a record. Rejecting a submitted declaration now records a reason for the member and keeps the submission in their history, instead of deleting it.
More reliable expiry. Expired declarations now reliably drop the disciplines and roles they granted β unless the member still holds them from another current declaration.
No printer? No problem. For download-and-sign declarations, the download step is now clearly optional β members who already have a copy (for example a pre-printed one left at the club) can skip straight to uploading their signed form.
