Comp Cards
How Range Mate integrates with the NRA to issue comp card automatically to your members
Initial setup
There are a few things you need to do to enable Comp Card integration
Navigate to Club Settings > Integrations
Enable "Send comp card requests"
Add an email address where the emails should be sent to. If you want them to go direct to the NRA, add "sccclubrenewals@nra.org.uk". Alternatively, you can enter any valid email address to have the batch requests be sent to you first if you'd like to check them and send them on manually.
Add an address to send the comp cards to. This is normally the home address of the club secretary, who subseuently hands the comp cards out to the individuals.
How batches work
The NRA require information for comp cards in specific formats, and prefer batches as opposed to individual requests - especially for large clubs. Range Mate is configured to automatically create and send batches in a queue, starting at 8:30 AM (UTC) every Monday morning.
If you need to send a batch urgently, you can by clicking on the "Comp Cards" link in the main menu, and then "Create new Batch" in the top right. New batches get built and sent in the background, and can take up to an hour to process and send.
Batch format
Here's a basic illustration of an individual batch
There's one main file (.zip) which contains a CSV file of the member data, as well as a sub-folder filled with images of each person listed in the file.
Batches are given unique references so if necessary you can track them with the NRA.
Batch Sizes
Batches with just a few members are small and might be able to be sent via email. However, larger batches (over 10MB total size) can't. For this reason, the emails that get generated contain a secure download link that expires 7 days after creation.
